This bed consists of an orthopedic foam, cotton-padded walls, and a quilted gray cover. It'due south not chew-proof, and may not withstand strong or aggressive chewing.
Where are the zippers for the cover located? Are they on the outside of the bed or tucked inside the bed?

The cotton fiber padded walls are not designed to exist laundered. The encompass to the bed has zippered openings to removed both the padded walls and the foam bottom, prior to cleaning. At this fourth dimension, replacement padding is non available.

Non like it used to be...:(
This was an absolutely terrific canis familiaris bed 5-6 years ago. At the time, it came with a separate long cream bolster that y'all had to insert to create the 10" high wraparound "walls." Plus, a thick foam base (that was easily inserted). The recent model does not include the dissever foam for the eternalize "walls." The "walls" come already filled with MUCH less filling then, they're not as sturdy or rigid or supportive every bit the original model. Size Medium. I was very disappointed.

My dog really likes this bed
My domestic dog seems to similar this bed. He scratches a bit to make his bed, and it has withal held upwards well. It's very comfortable, and he both curls up and stretches out. The sides are a bit floppy when he lays on them, but I tin reshape information technology after he gets out. He'southward got that typical puppy silliness, so he sometimes rolls over the side and falls out when he'south rolling effectually in at that place playing. Putting the bed up against a wall would probably be ameliorate (on carpet so it doesn't slide). The retentiveness cream gives him good support, which was my master concern being his breed mix. My rescue pup likes his new cozy bed. NOTE: I ordered the medium. I have a seven month old Australian Cattle Dog/High german Shepherd mix. He'southward newly rescued and so he'south thin, but I'd say he'south the size of a medium domestic dog. He'south got to be 30lbs or under. He'll probably need the next size upwards equally he grows, but he fits well now. ALSO: the leash in the photos was left on him so we can quickly lead him exterior while potty training.

Cushy comfy bed
Great bed that'south very comfortable from the foam base and soft bumpers. Getting the foam cushion into its pocket was a scrap tricky just got it in. My domestic dog jumped in and stretched out with her head on the bumper side, a characteristic she loves. I did learn that she wants something she tin mitt into a pile of her choosing and so had to add together a blanket. Since then it'due south her favorite bed. Not sure how the material is chew resistant since doesn't appear that tough. Information technology'due south like a low nap velvet. Overall it'south bonny and comfy.

Worst canis familiaris beds e'er.
I bought a total of vi of these beds 4 months ago. I have 3 in the sleeping room and three in my office. These are the worst canis familiaris beds I have e'er bought. The material in the bed is so thin that the dogs have already destroyed them. My dogs like to plough around a few times before laying downward. Holes are made in them and the foam is exposed. Of course they want to pull the foam out. I have at present thrown abroad 4 of them. I would not reccomend these to anyone. Horrible quality.

Canis familiaris doesn't like it at all, struggle for me
Most importantly, my elderly dog is refusing to sleep in the bed, the foam lesser is much harder than memory foam, more than like high density foam. Possibly one of my younger dogs can break it in. I washed the cover immediately, as I practice with any material I buy, and it was a 45 minute struggle to get the bolster and the foam base back into the zippered shell. Definitely a two-person job. I'1000 hoping my older dog accepts this bed into her life, only correct now it's a no-become.

Nice bed, holds upward
I recently bought a second one of these beds. I had the medium size for my smaller canis familiaris of 40 lbs and merely purchased the large size for my 80lb dog. My dogs sleep in them daily while I am working in my domicile office. Expert size and super comfy.

Another one bites the dust...
I will say it lasted longer than her usual domestic dog beds, but alas, 3 days in and she chewed through information technology. I have a six twelvemonth old pitbull. She's about 60 pounds and the size is perfect. I must have misread the product description that it was chew resistant. The bottom padding is very nice and she hasn't chewed through that.... nonetheless. Just the bolster office is half style gone. The search continues...

Supportive
Our Chloe loves her new bed it'southward supportive and I beloved that it breaks down so I can wash it. Only complaint would be the meridian ring shift sometimes when she leans into it and then it looks bad-mannered simply she doesn't seem to heed.

Do non recommend
My dogs like this but it's not what I thought information technology would be. The roll around the top scoots back and back until the back of the roll is laying flat on the floor and no longer serves as a bolster to caress the domestic dog laying in it. I will say that the bottom pad is excellent and the large size fits my 90 pound dogs very well. I'm going to try to return information technology.

He loves it!
I thought I would purchase a snuggly bed when my 100 pound English lab took over my sister'south beagle's little bed while nosotros were visiting over the holidays. I never idea information technology would be something he would enjoy (after all...I accept a burrow, chairs, beds, LOL!). He LOVES this bed! I was worried near what size to get him, since he clearly loved squeezing into a tiny bed, simply he curls right up into it and there is even a little room for his 50 pound mutt brother when he wants to cuddle! Well made, like shooting fish in a barrel to get together, and the removable cover is a must! Highly recommend!
